“My kid drew it”
Who among us hasn’t thought that their own child draws as good as Picasso? or Leonadro da Vinci? Who hasn’t fondly looked at their child’s drawings and thought they were the most beautiful drawings in the world?
Only you, the parent.
My kid drew it started like Black Giraffe itself – from my kids. These 2 are my biggest motivation. Motherhood is accompanied by sleepless nights, cold coffee, showers with several spectators and a good dose of frustration, I have come out with rather sarcastic drawings and thoughts about life itself. But I know, I am not the only one. There are others like me. Hundreds. Thousands. Millions and they are all mothers.
For this year’s Father’s Day, we have come up with something completely different. We help put our tiny Picasso drawings on our biggest superhero hoodies and shirts. What if my 4-year-old tractor doesn’t look like a tractor at all, or our family portrait looks more like Pinocchio with plastered hands. But these are their drawings. And this is the most important
If you want your child’s drawing on a shirt or hoodie, do so –
- Let your little Picasso get creative and let him draw a picture with a black marker. The picture must fit on an A4 page and there should not be more than 3 different drawings. It would be ideal if the child drew either his favorite toy, a parent, grandparents or himself.
- Take a photo of the drawings and send it to kairi@blackgiraffe.ee
- Place an order in the Black Giraffe e-shop so that your information is all in one place and that our bear heads do not get split. Write in the notes how the drawing reaches us.
